Ruth Carter Lane 1923-2017

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Ruth Lane, Jim Lane's Mother, on Sunday Mar.12.  Mrs. Lane was 94 years old and had lived a very full life raising Jim and his siblings.  Jim has said she was his mentor throughout his life with her encouragement with his art and music.  The family will receive friends Thur. March 16 at Carter Trent Funeral home starting at 5:00pm, followed by service at 7:00pm.  Burial will be Fri. March 17, 10:00am at Oak Hill Cemetery.

A very late addition to our schedule:  Mark your calendars- This Thur. Dec. 20, we're in action at the Tavern, The New Club at Ridgefields, from 6:30-9:00pm.  This is open to the public.  Bring your friends and come by and have a drink and dinner.  See you there!!!

KIDS OUR AGE @ TENN. DANCERS GROUP, SAT. DEC. 8, JONESBOROUGH VISITORS CENTER

Join us for an evening of Dancing your own style on a beautiful floating wood dance floor as we play your favorites from rock, to beach, to everything in between.  8:00-11:00pm.  Admission is $6:00 per person.  Open to the public.  All age groups invited.  Refreshments provided by Robin.  Dressy casual.
