Ruth Carter Lane 1923-2017
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Ruth Lane, Jim Lane's Mother, on Sunday Mar.12. Mrs. Lane was 94 years old and had lived a very full life raising Jim and his siblings. Jim has said she was his mentor throughout his life with her encouragement with his art and music. The family will receive friends Thur. March 16 at Carter Trent Funeral home starting at 5:00pm, followed by service at 7:00pm. Burial will be Fri. March 17, 10:00am at Oak Hill Cemetery.
